My client is a well established, privately owned business in a very healthy financial standing. Due to continued growth and investment in IT, they now have an excellent opportunity to join their Infrastructure Operations team.
You will be a 3rd Line Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Architect who is passionate for all things IT and have a broad range of experience spanning Windows desktop and server platforms, network technologies and Hybrid Cloud environments. You will take a lead role in the development and support of the group’s technical architecture.
You will have an in-depth understanding of a wide range on infrastructure, cloud, virtualisation and networking technology including Windows Server, AD, Office 365, Powershell, VMWare, Hyper-V, Azure, Juniper and Cisco (Meraki).
Based in their central London office (working remotely during COVID) you will provide technical expertise to offices in the UK and around the world. The position is split 50/50 on BAU and project-based work (some that you will lead).
This position is hands-on, and you must have a proven track record of taking ownership and resolving 3rd line technical, security and network issues. You should have a can-do attitude and be able to see the bigger picture.
