Full Stack Java Developer (fully remote - UK based) - Kent

£45,000 - £60,000 + Full benefits
Ref: 205 Date Posted: Monday 08 Mar 2021

Edison Hill Search has been retained by our client, an organisation established for over 100 years, who are located on the Kent/London borders (remote working policy during Covid-19 and a flexible remote working policy post COVID).

Due to continued growth and investment, they now require a talented Full Stack Java Developer to join their small but growing Development team.

This role will require full software development life cycle experience - from conception, design, development, testing through to deployment. You will be liaising directly with the internal business to obtain their requirements before translating these into your own design briefs and specs to develop from.

There are several key projects to initially deliver on, with plenty more on the horizon to keep you busy.

Your coding skills will include Java 11+, Spring, SQL, JDBC, REST API Development, CI tools, GIT, JavaScript Frameworks (React and/or Angular), HTML, CSS, Database and (desirable) Web Application Cloud Hosting.

If you’re not looking forward to the train commute and would rather commute locally to the Kent/SE London area then this could be perfect for you. My client really is a "nice" environment to work in.

You can expect a competitive basic salary, plus full benefits, as well as an opportunity to enhance and grow your already impressive development skillset.

In the first instance please apply below to be considered for this post. The process will include a remote online technical assessment and a three stage interview.
