Edison Hill Search has been retained by our client, a prestigious and well established mutual friendly society located on the borders with South London & Kent.
Due to continued growth & success, they now require the services of a proven Head of Technology to help build on the Technology strategy in liaison with the Chief Operating Officer to help them achieve the next stages of their exciting growth plans.
You will directly manage a team of three, made up of a Developer, Business Analyst and Support person. The team will be adding additional developers to its numbers in order to deliver their financial products & services to its members, utilising groundbreaking technology and processes. This will give you the chance to demonstrate your team leading/management skills as well as implementing the recruitment strategy for onboarding new team members.
Your Project Management skills will also be heavily utilised in order to ensure all projects, predominantly development focussed, are delivered on time and to budget and will require you liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
The Society's relationship with their 3rd party IT vendors is critical to their smooth-running operation and the experience that both internal users and members have of this service. The relationship with all 3rd party vendors will fall within your remit and you will be expected to manage this directly and to make any suitable recommendations for improvement that you see fit.
