Java Analyst Programmer - Kent

£40000 to £70000
Ref: 238 Date Posted: Friday 22 Jul 2022

Edison Hill Search has been retained by our client; a Financial Services organisation established for over 130 years located on the Kent/London borders (hybrid working policy post COVID), to locate a talented Java Analyst Programmer.

This is due to continued growth and investment; you will be working with both their inhouse Development team and a global software house, also based inhouse.

This role will require full software development life cycle experience - from conception, design, development, testing through to deployment. You will be liaising directly with the internal business to obtain their requirements before translating these into your own design briefs and specs to develop from.

There are several key greenfield digital transformation projects to initially deliver on, with plenty more interesting development on the horizon to keep you busy.

Your coding skills will include Java 11+, Spring, SQL, JDBC, REST API Development, CI tools, GIT, JavaScript Frameworks (React and/or Angular), HTML, CSS, Database and (desirable) Web Application Cloud Hosting.

If you’re not looking forward to the train commute to The City or West End, and would rather commute locally to the Kent/SE London area, then this could be perfect for you. My client really is a "nice" environment to work in.

You can expect a competitive basic salary, plus full benefits, as well as an opportunity to enhance and grow your already impressive development skillset.

In the first instance please apply below to be considered for this post. The process will include a HakerRank technical assessment and face to face interviews.
