My established client works within niche music & arts genres providing a unique B2C & B2B offering.
Working closely with their Head of Product, they require a Tech Lead to join them on their journey as they focus more on their B2B project while consolidating their B2C status.
It’s very much video & audio streaming at its core, but it’s so much more. The word that springs to mind when describing them is passionate.
They have multiple locations across Europe, including the UK, and are happy for their new Tech Lead to be based anywhere with easy access to the main capitals of Europe (circa 2-3 hour flight away) as this role with be largely remote.
The role itself will consist of around 50% hands on coding. So, if you want to move away from being hands-on this won’t be for you.
However, if you want to continue coding with PHP, Symphony, MySQL, PostGres, React (JS & Native) in an environment that includes an AWS infrastructure & DevOps tools then read on.
The remaining 50% will include team leading and mentoring a small but growing team of 5 developers, (backend, frontend, mobile & DevOps, and a QA person) and strategy, by collaborating with the Head of Product to define and implement the tech strategy and roadmap across the business.
Please note. You will be expected to grasp the product vision and be capable of designing and recommending the most suitable tech stack to grow and scale the business.
As well as a unique and structured career path for a fledgling and potentially future CTO, my client are also offering a competitive basic salary ranging from £60,000 to £80,000, stock options & full benefits.
